[[Feedback Focus]]

How would you rank the three strategies in terms of their usefulness to you?3 (Use a Timer), 2 (Copy-and-Delete), and 1 (Read Out-Loud)
* Were you surprised by the way these different strategies affected your reading? Yes, I was with rereading the material I was able to fully comprehend and pick out sections that needed more work and sections that were great just as they were. Copy-and-Delete really put focus completely once section at a time which is really great for long stories. Also, reading out loud gave me the ability to catch things I normally wouldn't
* For each strategy, what would you say is its biggest advantage? And its biggest disadvantage?  1 (Read-Out-Loud): The biggest advantage is that you are able to really get into the story and see exactly what's wrong structurally with the riding. The downfall is that it seems that sometimes your reading is slower. 2 (Copy-and Delete): The advantage of this strategy is that it gives you laser-like focus and the ability to get grasp the finer details. The downside is that it's very time consuming. Lastly, 3 (Use a Timer): Great for someone who doesn't have a lot of time on their hands, but horrible at the same time because you miss so much stuff!
* Would you try any of these strategies in the future? I already use a little bit of each, so I will continue to do so. This is because they each work great when combined together.
* Have you used any of these strategies, or others like them, in the past? Yes (see previous asterisk).
* Are there some other reading techniques that you would recommend? Someone reading the story to you really helps you to pinpoint mistakes and things you need to elaborate on. Just remember to get with someone patient and keep a notebook handy!
* Of the stories, was there one that you really liked...? The Wax Crocodile. It makes me really excited for when we get to the Egyptian part of the class!
