Reading Notes: [[Mackenzie's Egyptian Myth and Legend, Part B]]

SOME SPOILERS]
Woah! The Beta and the Anpu story is insane!

Seduction of Anpu's Wife-Shawli
1. Anpu sees his wife in despair which, of course, angers him, but instead of killing his brother he believes it to someone else and he goes on an epic voyage to find that someone (research Egyptian figures). Meanwhile, Bata is left behind to fend of Anpu's wife. After a while Anpu comes back to his home and sees the truth, by the way of advertising herself openly, upon seeing this he flies into a rage and kills her. If chosen will develop it more as I write.

2. Ra separates brothers (Bata and Anpu) with a crocodile filled stream. Ra then does something very magical to show the what the truth was. For example, one of the crocodiles can get on its hind legs and a circular heavenly object forms and it shows Anpu the truth about his wife. Make the separation even more intense then in the story and make the crocodiles have a central role in telling the truth.
9 Egyptian Gods-TigTail
3. Nine gods- Bata meets them on his journey and the each give him a piece of information or clue about the state of his wife and brother. Which will come together as a bigger picture, in the end (brainstorm WAYY more).
4. Bata becomes a seed, which will t

urn into a tree that stands the test of time. Anpu never finds Bata and dies oh his journey. Betas wife and new husband also dies from the a storm of epic portions. It is the death of his wife and husband that causes Bata to come back as a wanderer soul. Someone who wanders Earth, but is never fully at peace. He is this way because of his brothers death.
Bata & the Bull He Becomes-Jungny
5. Beta the bull- What it's like for the kind Bata to be a bull. I'm not really sure what this one... Any suggestions to make it interesting?

6. The sacred tree brings good luck to the citizens that bring it fruit (which it lost during a great famine-Describe) and water which is unable to get from the dry soil (describe).
