Reading Notes: [[Macleod's Stories from the Faerie Queene, Part B]]

[SOME SPOILERS]
This story was epic, wonderful and if I could get lost in this world forever I would be okay with that.
Black Death Cloaks-Pinterest
1. The Enchanted Chamber: "Strange figures in curious disguises."
  • Black death outfits.
What Britomart was witnessing was the men that would cause the black death. These men also killed everyone in then house/chamber Britomart is in.
  • Go into more detail.
People in black death outfits conjure up different emotions and actions; Fear, hope, grief, danger and etc. Utilize these emotions to convey how they made the black death almost wipe out an entire country. Make it more pronounced and frightening.
2. A Wicked Enchanter: Enchanter tries to cast spells to make Amoret fall in love with him and instead of it working on Amoret, it works on Britomart.

Side NoteWhat a wonderful story! I wish they would make it into a movie. I would watch it every single day!
3. Strange Meetings: Duessa is the woman that tricks King Arthur and his round table. This causes death and the greatest royal line to be tarnished throughout history.
Duessa-SteveMorris
  • Flashword: Duessa is thousands of years old and living in modern times. She attempts to do the same thing to the Queen of England and her royal line. She fails (brainstorm how) and suffers a hidden guillotine the queen keeps in the basement.
  • Guillotine is magical, it can kill evil enchantresses like Duessa and Ate'.
  • Ate' also has a part in this story, just need to brainstorm what her role would be. Seeing as she is more threating then Duessa it could be a rather large part.
  • Ate' could cause a nation in captivity and quarrels between Guinevere and Arthur causing her to run into Sir Lancelot's arms and therefore causing the greatest love story and war. Etc.
4. The Golden Girdle: No story ideas.
5. The False Florimell: No story ideas/got lost in the story.
6. The House of Care: No story ideas :/
7. Two Knights: No story ideas x2!

Side Note #2: I give up. I'm just going to finish reading the story. I have lost all train of thought and concern for the assignment. I mean how can I focus when I have epic reading happening! This is one of my favorite so far in the class!
